CDTI

The Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (Center for Industrial Technological Development or CDTI) is a Public Business Entity, dependent on the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, which promotes innovation and technological development in Spanish companies. It is the entity that channels requests for funding and support for R & D & i projects of Spanish companies at the national and international levels. Thus, the objective of the CDTI is to contribute to the improvement of the technological level of Spanish companies through the development of the following activities:

  • Technical-economic evaluation and financing of R&D projects developed by companies.
  • Management and promotion of Spanish participation in international technological cooperation programs.
  • Promotion of international transfer of business technology and support services for technological innovation.
  • Support for the creation and consolidation of technology-based companies.

At the national level, the CDTI has various instruments for financing R&D+I projects and the creation and consolidation of technology-based companies. In addition to financing, the CDTI can issue the Reasoned Report for tax relief for R&D+I activities.
